Celebration of National Unity Day in Tehran

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the “National Unity Day” was observed by the Embassy of India, Tehran, on Wednesday 31 st October 2018. The Pledge for the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas was administered by Ambassador Mr. Saurabh Kumar to all India-based >officials. It was followed by the newsreel show of the function held at Kevadia (Narmada district in India) where the bronze statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was dedicated to the nation by Hon’ble Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. Short documentaries on life and contributions of Sardar Patel to the nation were also screened. An Exhibition of photographs of Sardar Patel was displayed by SVCC, which was visited by Ambassador and other guests.
